About Us
We seek to have scriptural authority for all that we do in the work and worship of the church (Colossians 3:17). Below are the terms of membership, scriptural acts of worship, and the God-given work of the church.
Membership
- Hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17)
- Believe the Gospel (Mark 16:15-16)
- Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew 10:32)
- Repent of Sins (Luke 13:3)
- Be Baptized for the Forgiveness of Sins (Acts 2:8)
- Faithful Service To The Lord (Revelation 2:10)
Worship of the Church
- Preach the Gospel (Acts 2:42; 20:7)
- Sing (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16)
- Pray (Acts 2:42)
- Partake of Lord's Supper Every First Day of the Week (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7)
- Give as Prospered on the First Day of the Week (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
Work of the Church
- Preach Gospel to the World (1 Timothy 3:15; Romans 1:16-17)
- Edify the Local Church (Ephesians 4:16)
- Provide Needed Benevolence to Saints (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Romans 15:25-26)
